Short-term/vacation rentals have virtually no appreciable impact on affordable housing. In fact, more recent estimates state that Denver has approximately 1,500 active vacation rentals within the city limits. That equates to less than 1% of all residential homes in Denver. Short term rentals are great for our neighborhoods, great for tourism and great for Denver. Decisions about rules and regulations need to be made using facts so that we end up with a system that benefits the city.
